We are on the lookout for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team, to work on behalf of our client based in Fareham area.
This is an exciting time to join us and the right candidate will need to be enthusiastic, forward thinking and personable with the drive to hit the floor running.
Counterbalance Forklift Driver Role and Responsibilities:
- Operate Counterbalance and Reach forklifts safely and efficiently
- Load, unload and move stock within the warehouse
- Support shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and update inventory
- Carry out routine equipment checks and report defects promptly
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance where required
- Stack, sort and store goods correctly to maintain organisation
- Maintain a clean, safe and compliant working environment
Counterbalance Forklift Driver Skills and Experience:
- A Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent
- Own Safety boots & Hi Vis
- At least 1 years’ experience Forklift experience
- Own Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must
- Valid and in-date Counterbalance and Reach truck licences
- Proven forklift experience within a warehouse environment
- Experience using warehouse management systems (desirable)
- Basic mechanical knowledge (advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
- Reliable, hardworking and safety-focused
