When creating and formatting a CV, you need to make sure that the final product is in a professional manner. Those who don’t do this, don’t get recognised when submitting their CV because an employer looks for a well formatted and professional CV.
A CV that is not related to the job someone is applying for can be difficult for the employer and can be a chance of getting thrown away as they don’t want to be searching through your CV as to why you have applied in the first place.

This way people can read you CV without having to install Word processors.

It is important you haven’t created a basic type of CV, at the same time this does not mean that it should be complicated and hard to understand. Depending on the type of job you are applying for you can chose from chronological, functional and targeted types of CVs.
Consistent Formatting- It is very important you have used consistent formatting when wring out you CV. By this I mean if you have used a list to show your achievements and responsibilities, you should show the same across other positions for example skills or education history ECT. Also, if you are using a certain colour or font make sure you use that through out the CV. The consistency makes it look professional.
Using Templates- There are so many different types of templates on the internet that can help you use for your own CV. When creating your own CV, you can use as many templates you want to help you get the perfect CV, its best to use modern and up to date CVs.
